ABOUT ME
I am a proud alumna of the University of Oregon, where I studied business administration with a concentration in accounting and computer science. During my studies, I found my love for systems and chose to pursue them further in the computer science program at the Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. I later attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, graduating with honors, earning my MBA, with an emphasis in accounting.
In the spring of 2021, after 20+ years in corporate accounting supporting companies in SaaS, service, distribution, retail, and manufacturing industries, I stepped away to create Ion Synergies to fulfill my pursuit of servant leadership. I focus not just on my client's numbers, but also on their people. I work hard to build relationships with my clients and their employees so that I can better understand and support them. I strive to learn what makes them inspired so that together we create a company culture that fosters employee commitment and satisfaction because they’ve found true meaning in the business.
I love the work I do because I have the opportunity to meet new people, learn from them, and offer suggestions to improve their processes so they have more time to focus on things that impact the business. I’m also incredibly proud to be building a legacy for my two children and being their role model for female entrepreneurship.
When I’m not supporting other businesses, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my children. We love going on road trips and adventures, looking for special places to explore together.
